Once again the captain Dhoni failed to contribute more to his team as he scored just 22 runs on 22 balls. Pragyan ojha once again ball brilliantly and clinch 2 wickets in 2 overs and giving away 11 runs.
Whereas Chasing Deccan Chargers achieve their targets with 3 balls to spare in their innings. It was again the opening pair of Deccan Chargers i:e Adam Gilchrist and Heeschelle Gibbs who gave blitzkrieg start to their team. Adam gilchrist scored 44 runs on 19 deliveries five 4′s and three 6′s also Herschelle gibbs shown in tremendous form and scored 69 runs on 56 balls with six 4′s and two 6′s. Gibbs was also declared Man of the Match for his contribution to the team.
