Chennai Super Kings made 240/5 (20.0 Ovs). In reply Punjab Kings XI made 207/4 (20.0 Ovs).
Excellent innings from Hopes and Sangakkara but both fell at crucial junctures which hampered the prospects of a record chase. 240 was always going to be an uphill chase but one has to say it was a much better chase than what was witnessed yesterday.
